Artist Bio:
Montgomery Gentry was an American country music duo formed by Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. They debuted in 1999 with their album "Tattoos & Scars," which produced several hit singles including "Hillbilly Shoes" and "Lonely and Gone." The duo went on to release a total of nine studio albums, with three of them certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Montgomery Gentry was known for their high-energy performances and their unique blend of country and Southern rock influences. They were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009, recognizing their contributions to the country music genre. Tragically, Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017, bringing an end to the duo. Eddie Montgomery continues to perform as a solo artist, keeping the legacy of Montgomery Gentry alive through their timeless music.
