Motley Crue is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, and guitarist Mick Mars. Motley Crue gained popularity in the 1980s with their hard-hitting music, outrageous stage antics, and party lifestyle. They are known for their hits such as "Girls, Girls, Girls," "Dr. Feelgood," and "Kickstart My Heart."


Motley Crue has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands in history. They have also received several awards, including a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance. The band announced their retirement in 2015, but later reunited and embarked on a successful farewell tour that concluded in 2015.
