Artist Bio:
Mott the Hoople was a British rock band formed in 1969. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist and pianist Ian Hunter, guitarist Mick Ralphs, guitarist and keyboardist Verden Allen, bassist Overend Watts, and drummer Dale "Buffin" Griffin. They are best known for their hit singles "All the Young Dudes" and "All the Way from Memphis."


Mott the Hoople's music is characterized by a mix of glam rock and hard rock influences, with catchy melodies and energetic performances. The band's name was inspired by a novel written by Willard Manus. Mott the Hoople disbanded in 1974 but reunited several times over the years for tours and performances. Their music continues to be celebrated by fans and critics alike for its unique sound and influence on the rock music scene of the 1970s.
