Artist Bio:
Mountain is an American hard rock band formed in 1969. The band's most well-known lineup consisted of Leslie West (guitar, vocals), Felix Pappalardi (bass, vocals), Corky Laing (drums), and Steve Knight (keyboards). They are best known for their hit song "Mississippi Queen" from their debut album "Climbing!" released in 1970. The song has since become a classic rock anthem.

Mountain is considered one of the pioneering bands of the hard rock genre, known for their heavy, blues-influenced sound and powerful live performances. They released several albums throughout the 1970s before disbanding in 1972. However, they have reunited and continued to perform and release new music intermittently over the years. Despite various lineup changes, Mountain's influence on the hard rock and heavy metal genres has endured, cementing their legacy in rock music history.
