Artist Bio:
Moving Pictures is an Australian rock band that formed in Sydney in 1980. The band's original lineup consisted of Alex Smith on vocals, Garry Frost on guitar and keyboards, Charlie Cole on drums, Ian Lees on bass, and Andrew Thompson on saxophone. They are best known for their hit single "What About Me," which reached number one on the Australian singles chart in 1982 and also achieved success internationally.


The band released three studio albums during their career: "Days of Innocence" in 1981, "Matinee" in 1983, and "Movin' Pictures" in 1985. Moving Pictures disbanded in the late 1980s but reunited in the 2000s for occasional performances and recording projects. They have been recognized for their contributions to the Australian music scene and continue to be remembered for their iconic song "What About Me."
