N2Deep is a rap duo hailing from Vallejo, California, consisting of James Trujillo, also known as Jay Tee, and Tim Lyons, known as TL. The group rose to fame in the early 1990s with their hit single "Back to the Hotel" from their debut album of the same name, released in 1992 under the Profile Records label. The song became a commercial success, peaking at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Following the success of their debut album, N2Deep released several more albums, including "24-7-365" in 1994 and "The Golden State" in 1997. The duo is known for their laid-back West Coast style and catchy hooks. N2Deep's music often reflects themes of California culture and party lifestyle. Despite not achieving the same level of mainstream success as their debut, N2Deep remains a respected name in the West Coast rap scene.
