Nancy Wilson was an American singer who was born on February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe, Ohio, and passed away on December 13, 2018, in Pioneertown, California. She was best known for her versatile vocal style, which encompassed jazz, blues, R&B, pop, and soul music. Wilson began her music career in the late 1950s and gained fame with hits like "Guess Who I Saw Today" and "Save Your Love for Me."


Throughout her career, Nancy Wilson won three Grammy Awards and recorded over 70 albums. She was admired for her smooth and emotive voice, as well as her ability to interpret and convey the emotions of a song. Wilson was also a civil rights activist and used her platform to advocate for equality and social justice. She was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2004 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1990.
