Throughout his career, Nat King Cole released numerous hit songs, including classics like "Unforgettable," "Mona Lisa," and "The Christmas Song." He was the first African American man to host his own television variety show, "The Nat King Cole Show," which aired in the late 1950s. Cole's contributions to music were recognized with multiple Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously in 1990. Nat King Cole passed away on February 15, 1965, leaving behind a lasting legacy as a talented musician and beloved performer.
