Natalie Cole was an American singer, songwriter, and actress born on February 6, 1950, in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of legendary jazz musician Nat King Cole. Cole rose to fame in the 1970s with hits like "This Will Be" and "Inseparable," earning her multiple Grammy Awards. She continued to release successful albums throughout her career, including "Unforgettable... with Love," which paid tribute to her father and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1992.
In addition to her musical career, Cole also appeared in various films and television shows, including a recurring role on the popular TV series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She struggled with drug addiction and health issues throughout her life but continued to perform and inspire audiences with her soulful voice until her death on December 31, 2015, in Los Angeles, California.
