Natalie Cole was an American singer, songwriter, and actress born on February 6, 1950, in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of renowned jazz musician Nat King Cole, which greatly influenced her musical career. Cole rose to fame in the mid-1970s with hits like "This Will Be" and "Inseparable," winning her first Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1975.


Throughout her career, Natalie Cole released a number of successful albums that spanned various genres such as R&B, jazz, and pop, earning her a total of nine Grammy Awards. One of her most iconic albums was the 1991 release "Unforgettable... with Love," which featured reinterpreted versions of her father's songs. Cole's powerful voice, soulful delivery, and incredible range solidified her as a respected and beloved artist in the music industry. Tragically, she passed away on December 31, 2015, leaving behind a lasting legacy of music and inspiration.
