Natalie Cole was an American singer, songwriter, and actress, born on February 6, 1950, in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of legendary jazz musician Nat King Cole and began her music career in the mid-1970s. She achieved success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "This Will Be," "Inseparable," and "I've Got Love on My Mind."


Cole is most well-known for her 1991 album "Unforgettable... with Love," which featured reworked versions of her father's songs. The album won several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and solidified her status as a respected artist in her own right. Throughout her career, Cole won a total of nine Grammy Awards and sold over 30 million records worldwide. She continued to perform and release music until her passing on December 31, 2015, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the music industry.
