Nathaniel Mayer and The Fabulous Twilights released several singles, including "Village of Love" which was their most successful song, reaching number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1962. Despite their initial success, the group disbanded in the late 1960s. Nathaniel Mayer continued to perform as a solo artist in later years, enjoying a resurgence of interest in his music before his passing in 2008.
