Nazz was an American rock band formed in the late 1960s in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band was known for their psychedelic and garage rock sound, influenced by bands like The Beatles and The Who. Nazz consisted of members Todd Rundgren (vocals, guitar), Carson Van Osten (bass), Thom Mooney (drums), and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni (vocals, keyboards).
Nazz gained popularity with their self-titled debut album released in 1968, which featured the hit single "Open My Eyes". The band released two studio albums, "Nazz" (1968) and "Nazz Nazz" (1969), before disbanding in 1969. Todd Rundgren went on to have a successful solo career in music production and as a singer-songwriter. Despite their short-lived existence, Nazz is remembered as an influential band in the development of psychedelic and garage rock music.
