Artist Bio:
New Edition is an American R&B group formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978. The group originally consisted of Bobby Brown, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell, Ralph Tresvant, and Ronnie DeVoe. They gained popularity in the 1980s with a string of hits including "Candy Girl" and "Cool It Now." New Edition was known for their smooth harmonies, catchy melodies, and synchronized dance moves, which helped them become one of the pioneers of the boy band genre.

Over the years, New Edition experienced various lineup changes, with members pursuing solo careers and other projects. Despite this, the group has reunited several times for tours and performances, including a successful reunion in the 2000s that led to the release of a new album. New Edition has had a lasting impact on R&B music and has influenced many contemporary artists in the genre.
