Artist Bio:
New Edition is an American R&B group formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978. The original lineup consisted of Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ralph Tresvant. They achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with a string of hits including "Candy Girl," "Cool It Now," and "Mr. Telephone Man." The group was known for their smooth harmonies, catchy melodies, and synchronized dance routines.


New Edition went on to influence many other boy bands that followed in their footsteps. They have released several albums over the years and have won various awards for their music. In addition to their group success, members of New Edition have also had successful solo careers, with Bobby Brown and Ralph Tresvant both achieving notable success in the music industry.
