New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) is an American boy band that was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1984. The group consists of members Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. NKOTB achieved commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "Hangin' Tough" and "Step by Step."
The band's popularity led to a huge following of fans known as "Blockheads." Despite disbanding in 1994, New Kids On The Block reunited in 2008 and have continued to perform and release new music. They have sold over 70 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling boy bands in history. NKOTB's music is known for its catchy pop melodies and harmonies, and they are credited with helping to pave the way for other boy bands that followed in their footsteps.
