Artist Bio:
New Order is an English rock band formed in 1980 in Salford, England. The band was formed by Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Stephen Morris, following the demise of their previous band, Joy Division, after the death of lead singer Ian Curtis. Gillian Gilbert later joined the band as a keyboardist and guitarist. New Order is known for blending post-punk with electronic and dance music, creating a unique sound that has influenced many artists in the alternative music scene.

One of New Order's most famous songs is "Blue Monday," released in 1983, which became one of the best-selling singles of all time. The band has released several critically acclaimed albums over the years, including "Power, Corruption & Lies" and "Technique." New Order continues to perform and release music, with their most recent studio album, "Music Complete," being released in 2015.
