Artist Bio:
New Radicals was an American alternative rock band formed in 1997 by singer-songwriter Gregg Alexander. The band gained popularity with their hit single "You Get What You Give," which peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1999. The song was featured on their debut album, "Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too," released in 1998. The album received critical acclaim and was recognized for its catchy hooks and Alexander's songwriting skills.
Despite their early success, New Radicals disbanded in 1999, with Alexander citing his disillusionment with the music industry as the reason. After the breakup, Alexander continued his music career as a songwriter and producer for other artists, including Santana and Ronan Keating. Despite their short-lived existence, New Radicals left a lasting impact on the alternative rock scene of the late 1990s with their unique sound and memorable hit single.
