Nielsen/Pearson was an American soft rock duo consisting of Reed Nielsen and Mark Pearson. They released their self-titled debut album in 1980, which included their most successful single "If You Should Sail." The song reached #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The duo released two more albums, "Blind Luck" in 1983 and "20th Century" in 1986, before disbanding. Nielsen/Pearson's music is characterized by smooth harmonies and catchy melodies, typical of the soft rock genre popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
