Night Ranger is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1979. The band's original lineup consisted of Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (guitar), Jeff Watson (guitar), and Alan Fitzgerald (keyboards). They are best known for their hit songs "Sister Christian," "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," and "When You Close Your Eyes."
Night Ranger gained popularity in the 1980s with their brand of melodic hard rock and power ballads. They have released a total of 12 studio albums, with their debut album "Dawn Patrol" (1982) and its follow-up "Midnight Madness" (1983) being among their most successful. The band continues to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base and solidifying their place in the history of American rock music.
