Artist Bio:
Nile Rodgers is an American musician, producer, and songwriter, born on September 19, 1952, in New York City. He is best known as the co-founder of the disco and R&B band Chic, where he served as the lead guitarist and co-writer of many of the band's hits in the 1970s. Rodgers has also collaborated with numerous artists across various genres, including Madonna, David Bowie, Diana Ross, and Daft Punk, producing and co-writing many successful songs.


In addition to his work with Chic and as a producer, Nile Rodgers has also released solo albums and continued to perform live. He is a multi-Grammy Award winner and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Rodgers is widely respected in the music industry for his distinctive guitar playing style, innovative production techniques, and his influence on popular music over the past several decades.
