Ocean was a Canadian band formed in 1970 and consisted of singer Janice Morgan, guitarist Dave Tamblyn, bassist Jeff Jones, keyboardist Greg Brown, and drummer Chuck Slater. The band's biggest hit, "Put Your Hand in the Hand," propelled them to fame, and they released an album of the same name in 1971. Despite the success of their hit single, Ocean struggled to maintain their momentum and eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. Janice Morgan later pursued a solo career, while other members went on to work with different bands and artists.
