Some of their biggest hits include "Fire," "Love Rollercoaster," and "Skin Tight."
The Ohio Players were known for their energetic live performances and their flamboyant stage presence. They were pioneers in the funk music genre, influencing many other artists with their distinctive style. The band released a string of successful albums in the 1970s and continued to perform and record music until the early 2000s. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1998.
