Olive is a British electronic music group formed in London in 1994. The group consists of producer and musician Tim Kellett and singer Ruth-Ann Boyle. Olive rose to fame in the late 1990s with their debut album "Extra Virgin," released in 1996. The album featured their hit single "You're Not Alone," which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The song also achieved commercial success in several other countries.
Following the success of "Extra Virgin," Olive released their second album, "Trickle," in 2000. The album did not achieve the same level of success as their debut, and the group eventually went on hiatus. Olive is known for their blend of electronic, trip-hop, and dance music, and their ethereal sound and haunting vocals have garnered them a dedicated fan base.
