Olivia Newton-John is an English-Australian singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur. She was born on September 26, 1948, in Cambridge, England. Newton-John rose to fame in the 1970s with her country-pop crossover hits, including "Let Me Be There" and "If You Love Me (Let Me Know)." Her most famous role was starring as Sandy in the 1978 musical film "Grease," alongside John Travolta, where she also performed hit songs like "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "You're the One That I Want."


Throughout her career, Olivia Newton-John has won four Grammy Awards and numerous other music awards. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In addition to her music and acting career, Newton-John is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly in the areas of health and environmental causes. She has been an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research, having been diagnosed with the disease herself in 1992.
