Olivia Newton-John is an English-Australian singer, actress, and activist who rose to fame in the 1970s. She was born on September 26, 1948, in Cambridge, England, and moved to Australia with her family when she was six years old. Newton-John began her career as a singer in the 1960s and achieved international stardom with her role as Sandy in the hit musical film "Grease" in 1978, alongside John Travolta.


Throughout her career, Olivia Newton-John has released numerous successful albums and singles, including hits like "Physical" and "Hopelessly Devoted to You." She has won four Grammy Awards and multiple other music awards. In addition to her music career, Newton-John is also known for her advocacy work in promoting breast cancer awareness, having been diagnosed with the disease herself in 1992. She established the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia, to provide support and treatment for cancer patients.
