Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are a British electronic music band formed in 1978 in Wirral, England. The band was founded by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys and gained popularity in the early 1980s with hits such as "Enola Gay" and "Souvenir." OMD were pioneers of electronic music and are considered one of the most influential bands of the genre.


OMD have released over 15 studio albums and have had a number of top 10 singles in the UK. They are known for their unique blend of synthesizers, drum machines, and catchy melodies. The band has undergone various lineup changes over the years, with McCluskey being the only constant member. Despite these changes, OMD continue to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
