Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) are a British electronic music band formed in 1978 in Wirral, England. The band was founded by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, who met at primary school and shared a common interest in electronic music. OMD achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hit singles such as "Enola Gay," "Souvenir," and "Joan of Arc."


Known for their innovative synth-pop sound and catchy melodies, OMD have released a total of 13 studio albums over the years, with their music often featuring thought-provoking lyrics and a blend of electronic and orchestral elements. The band has been influential in the development of electronic music and continues to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
