Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) is a British electronic music band formed in 1978 by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. They are considered pioneers of electronic music and have achieved critical acclaim and commercial success throughout their career. OMD's music is characterized by their use of synthesizers, catchy melodies, and thoughtful lyrics.


The band achieved international success in the 1980s with hits such as "Enola Gay", "Joan of Arc", and "Electricity".
