Orion The Hunter was a rock band formed in 1984 by former Boston members Barry Goudreau and Fran Cosmo. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1984, which achieved moderate success, reaching number 57 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit single "So You Ran," which peaked at number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Despite the initial success of their debut album, Orion The Hunter disbanded in 1985. Barry Goudreau and Fran Cosmo went on to pursue other musical projects, with Cosmo eventually joining the band Boston as their lead vocalist in the 1990s. Orion The Hunter's brief career left a mark on the rock music scene of the 1980s, showcasing the talents of its members and producing memorable music for fans of the genre.
