Orleans is best known for their hit singles "Dance With Me" and "Still the One," both of which reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the 1970s. The band's signature sound blends elements of rock, pop, and folk, with catchy melodies and tight harmonies.

Orleans has released over a dozen studio albums and continues to tour and perform live, with founder members Lance Hoppen and Lane Hoppen still part of the band.
