OutKast is an American hip hop duo formed in 1992 in East Point, Georgia, consisting of members André "André 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. They are known for their innovative music style that incorporates elements of funk, soul, electronic, and jazz, setting them apart from traditional hip hop acts.
OutKast achieved commercial success with their second album, "ATLiens," released in 1996. Their 1998 album, "Aquemini," and 2000 album, "Stankonia," further solidified their status as one of the most influential and critically acclaimed hip hop groups of all time. In 2003, OutKast released a double album, "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below," which spawned the hit singles "Hey Ya!" and "Roses." They have won numerous awards, including six Grammy Awards, and have been praised for their unique sound and lyrical content.
