The Ozark Mountain Daredevils are an American southern rock/country rock band formed in 1972 in Springfield, Missouri. The band's original lineup consisted of John Dillon, Michael Granda, and Randle Chowning, among others. They are best known for their hit songs "If You Wanna Get to Heaven" and "Jackie Blue," which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975.


The Ozark Mountain Daredevils drew inspiration from a variety of musical genres, including folk, bluegrass, and rock, creating a unique sound that resonated with audiences. They released several albums throughout the 1970s and continued to tour and perform into the 21st century.
