Artist Bio:
Pages was an American pop rock band formed in 1978 in Los Angeles, California. The band was composed of Richard Page on vocals and bass, Steve George on vocals and keyboards, and George Lawrence on drums. Pages gained popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with their smooth and polished sound, influenced by artists like Steely Dan and Toto. They released three studio albums during their career: "Pages" (1978), "Future Street" (1979), and "Pages" (1981). The band is best known for their hit single "I Do Believe in You" from their self-titled debut album.
Pages disbanded in the early 1980s, with Richard Page going on to have a successful solo career and collaborating with other artists such as Ringo Starr and Quincy Jones. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Pages left a lasting impact on the music industry, particularly in the realm of pop rock and soft rock.
