Patti Page, born Clara Ann Fowler on November 8, 1927, was an American singer and actress. She was best known for her smooth vocals and hits like "Tennessee Waltz" and "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?" Page had a successful career spanning over five decades, with numerous chart-topping singles and albums.


Her distinctive voice and versatile singing style earned her the nickname "The Singing Rage." Page was one of the top-selling female artists of the 1950s and was the first singer to have her songs broadcast from the moon in 1969. She received multiple Grammy nominations and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Patti Page passed away on January 1, 2013, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering artist in the music industry.
