Patti Page, born Clara Ann Fowler on November 8, 1927, was an American singer and actress. She was best known for her hit songs in the 1950s, including "Tennessee Waltz" and "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?". Page's smooth vocals and versatility allowed her to excel in various genres such as country, pop, and traditional pop music.
Throughout her career, Patti Page released over 50 albums and charted more than 100 singles, making her one of the best-selling female artists of all time. She received several Grammy nominations and won her first Grammy in 1998 for her album "Live at Carnegie Hall: The 50th Anniversary Concert." Patti Page was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013. She passed away on January 1, 2013, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering artist in the music industry.
