Artist Bio:
Patty Smyth is an American singer and songwriter, born on June 26, 1957. She first gained fame as the lead singer of the band Scandal in the 1980s. Scandal's hit songs include "Goodbye to You" and "The Warrior," both of which featured Smyth's distinctive vocals. In 1984, Smyth was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female for her work with Scandal.


After leaving Scandal, Smyth launched a successful solo career, releasing albums such as "Never Enough" and "Patty Smyth." In 1992, she collaborated with Don Henley on the hit song "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough," which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Smyth continues to perform and record music, showcasing her powerful voice and rock sensibility.
