Paul Anka is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and actor who was born on July 30, 1941, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He rose to fame in the late 1950s with hits like "Diana" and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." Anka has had a successful career spanning over six decades, during which he has released more than 900 songs, including popular hits like "Lonely Boy" and "Puppy Love."


In addition to his music career, Anka has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "The Longest Day" and "Girls Town." He has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Anka continues to perform and tour, showcasing his enduring talent and charisma to audiences around the world.
