Paul Anka is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor, born on July 30, 1941, in Ottawa, Ontario. He gained fame in the late 1950s with hits like "Diana" and "Lonely Boy." Anka's career has spanned over six decades, during which he has released numerous albums and singles, achieving success in various music genres including pop, rock, and jazz.


In addition to his music career, Anka has also written songs for other artists, including Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, and Michael Jackson. He was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1990. Anka continues to perform and record music, with his most recent album, "Making Memories," released in 2017.
