Anka gained fame in the late 1950s with hits like "Diana," "Lonely Boy," and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." He became one of the most successful teen idols of the time and continued to have a successful music career throughout the decades.


In addition to his music career, Paul Anka has also written songs for other artists, including the iconic theme song for "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." Anka has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
