Paul Carrack is a British singer, songwriter, and musician born on April 22, 1951, in Sheffield, England. He is known for his soulful voice and versatile musical talents, which have earned him a successful career spanning over four decades. Carrack's music career began in the 1970s when he joined the band Ace, best known for their hit song "How Long." He later became a member of the band Squeeze and provided lead vocals on their hit single "Tempted."


In addition to his work with various bands, Paul Carrack has also enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums that showcase his songwriting skills and vocal abilities. Some of his most popular solo hits include "Don't Shed a Tear," "When You Walk in the Room," and "Over My Shoulder."
