Artist Bio:
Paul McCartney is a British singer, songwriter, and musician who rose to fame as a member of the iconic rock band The Beatles. He was born on June 18, 1942, in Liverpool, England. Along with John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, McCartney helped shape the sound of popular music in the 1960s with hits such as "Hey Jude," "Yesterday," and "Let It Be."


After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, McCartney pursued a successful solo career and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda McCartney. He has released numerous solo albums and has won multiple Grammy Awards over the course of his career. McCartney is also known for his philanthropic efforts, including supporting various causes such as animal rights and environmental conservation. In 1997, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to music.
