Paul Revere & The Raiders was an American rock band formed in 1958 in Boise, Idaho. The band achieved mainstream success in the mid-1960s with their catchy melodies and energetic performances. Paul Revere served as the keyboardist and frontman of the group, while Mark Lindsay was the lead singer and played the saxophone. The band had a string of hits in the mid-1960s, including "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Good Thing."


Mark Lindsay, in addition to his role in the band, also had a successful solo career. He was known for his distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence. Paul Revere & The Raiders continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with various lineup changes. The band was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2007 in recognition of their lasting impact on the music industry.
