Paul Revere & The Raiders was an American rock band formed in 1958 in Boise, Idaho. The band's most prominent member was Paul Revere, who played the keyboards and acted as the leader and manager of the group. Mark Lindsay was the lead singer and saxophonist for the band and became one of the most recognizable members.
Paul Revere & The Raiders achieved mainstream success in the 1960s with hits such as "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Good Thing." They were known for their energetic live performances and their mix of rock and roll with R&B influences. The band appeared regularly on television, including as the house band for the Dick Clark show "Where the Action Is." Paul Revere & The Raiders were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
