Paul Revere & The Raiders was an American rock band that was formed in Boise, Idaho in 1958. The band was led by vocalist and keyboardist Paul Revere Dick, who adopted the stage name Paul Revere, and featured guitarist Mark Lindsay as the lead singer. They achieved mainstream success in the mid-1960s with hits such as "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Good Thing."


Known for their energetic performances and distinctive Revolutionary War-inspired costumes, Paul Revere & The Raiders were a prominent part of the "The Northwest Sound" and the garage rock movement. They were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2007 and continued to perform and tour until Paul Revere's death in 2014. The band's legacy includes influencing the development of rock music in the 1960s and leaving a lasting impact on the music industry.
