Throughout her career, Peggy Lee received numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards, as well as being nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the 1955 film "Pete Kelly's Blues." Lee was also known for her work as a composer, with several of her songs becoming hits for other artists. She passed away on January 21, 2002, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of the most influential and talented female artists in the music industry.
