Sledge continued to have success with other songs such as "Warm and Tender Love" and "Take Time to Know Her." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Percy Sledge passed away on April 14, 2015, leaving behind a legacy as a soul music pioneer and a timeless voice in the genre.
