He signed with RCA Victor in 1943 and went on to release numerous hit songs, including "Till the End of Time," "Catch a Falling Star," and "Magic Moments."
Como's smooth baritone voice and relaxed singing style made him a beloved figure in both the music industry and on television. He hosted his own television variety show, "The Perry Como Show," which ran from 1948 to 1963 and then again from 1966 to 1967. Como received multiple Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for his contributions to the music industry. He passed away on May 12, 2001, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of the most successful and enduring entertainers of his time.
