Perry Como was an American singer and television personality, born on May 18, 1912, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He began his music career as a barber, but his talent was soon discovered, leading to a successful career in the music industry. Como was known for his smooth and relaxed vocal style, which earned him the nickname "Mr. Relaxation."


During his career, Perry Como released numerous hit songs, including "Catch a Falling Star," "Magic Moments," and "It's Impossible." He also hosted a popular television variety show, "The Perry Como Show," which aired from 1948 to 1963 and later from 1963 to 1966. Como received several awards for his contributions to music, including multiple Grammy Awards and a Kennedy Center Honor. He passed away on May 12, 2001, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most beloved and successful entertainers of his time.
