He was known for his warm and friendly demeanor, earning him the nickname "Mr. C." Como received multiple Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. He passed away on May 12, 2001, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of the most popular and beloved entertainers of his time.
